Stripes & colors

Questa primavera la tendenza che va per la maggiore, oltre alle righe tout court, è anche il mix and match.

Se ne erano già viste delle avvisaglie nei mesi scorsi, in particolare riguardo i collant, grazie ai quali si potevano mescolare facilmente pois, pied de poule e righe ad altre fantasie, ma con l'inizio della bella stagione c'è stata una vera esplosione di colori e fantasie da indossare tutte insieme!

Via libera quindi a fiori e righe, quadrettati e pois, ma anche righe orizzontali e verticali mescolate insieme nello stesso completo.
In questo modo anche il più banale dei capi riesce a trovare nuova vita ma le righe non sono certo facili nè da indossare nè da abbinare, e tanto più in combinazione con altre fantasie.

Infatti se si hanno dei difettucci fisici, questi potrebbero venire amplificati e messi in evidenza dalle righe, e le fantasie che le accompagnano potrebbero persino peggiorare il problema, quindi meglio andarci molto caute con questi abbinamenti.
Infine non dimentichiamo che anche i colori hanno la loro importanza: se si ha una carnagione molto chiara meglio evitare il bianco che, se mescolato alle righe, sia colorate che in bianco e nero, tende a mettere in risalto il pallore: meglio aspettare di prendere un pò di colore prima di indossarle vicino al viso, con una carnagione dorata il risultto sarà ottimale! ;)

We had already seen the signs in passed months, in particular with tights, thanks to which you could easily mix polka dots, houndstooth and stripes with other patterns, but with the onset of warm season there has been a very explosion of colors and patterns to wear all together!
So go ahead with flowers and stripes, checks and polka dots, but also with horizontal and vertical stripes mixed together in the same suit.
In this way, even the most trivial piece can find new life but stripess are definitely neither easy to combine nor to wear, and even more so in combination with other patterns.
In fact, if you have some little flaws, these may be amplified and highlighted by sttripes, and the printss that accompany them might even make the problem worse: so better go very cautious with these combinations.
Finally do not forget that even colors are important: if you have a very clear complexion it'd beteer to avoid white mixed with stripes, both colored or black and white, it tends to emphasize the paleness. Way better to wait to take some color before putting them close to the face, with a golden complexion you will look be the best! ;)

Striped looks

Le righe sono uno dei must have per questa primavera estate e le più attente alla moda e ai trend le hanno già scelte.
Ma, le righe non sono semplici da portare e bisogna dosarle in modo corretto.

Se decidete di scegliere un'abito con questo pattern, è consigliabile optare per righe verticali che tendono a slanciare la figura, possibilmente sottili ed evitare la versione bianco e nero, o comunque dall’effetto un optical.
In ogni caso un total look non è sempre consigliato, come ho già accennato sarebbe sempre meglio spezzare il look abbinando una camicia, un pantalone o una gonna a righe con un capo tinta unita. Scegliere una t-shirt o una camicia a righe, invece, è in genere la scelta migliore: le righe, nonostante possano creare effetti antiestetici, utilizzate nel modo corretto, possono anche limare alcuni difetti.
Allo stesso modo, mentre i pantaloni a righe sono per lo più sconsigliabili, una gonna a righe è molto più semplice da portare, magari optando per un modello a ruota con righe oblique che sta bene praticamente a tutte.

But stripes are not easy to wear and you have to wear them properly.
If you want to wear a dress with this pattern, it could be better to opt for vertical stripes, possibly thin, that tend to slender the figure, and avoid the black and white version, or any optical effect.
In any case, a total striped look is not always recommended, as I mentioned before, it would be always better to break up the look, for example matching a striped shirt, pants or skirt with an another solid garment.
To choose a t-shirt or a striped blouse, however, is usually the best choice: stripes, even if they can create unsightly effects, used correctly can also shave a few flaws.
Similarly, while striped pants are mostly inadvisable, a striped skirt is much easier to carry on, maybe with oblique stripes, which looks good to almost everybody.
